Mais Polvoreira presented its new electric vehicles last Tuesday, a structuring step in its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, decarbonization, and the promotion of responsible ecological practices.

This symbolic moment reflected not only the modernization of our institution, but also a conscious vision for the future, where environmental protection and the well-being of future generations play a central role.

This celebration was attended by the Mayor, Dr. Ricardo Araújo, and the Parish Council President, Dr. Carlos Oliveira, and included a welcome address by the President of the Institution, Dr. Marta Bragança.

The vans are intended to ensure the development of the following services: Home Support Service and Day Center, as well as other institutional activities in the area of Sports and other Social Projects.

The introduction of these electric vehicles represents a significant reduction in the institution's carbon footprint, and they have also been adapted and modified according to the service provided, ensuring its quality.

This presentation also included the participation of our Day Center users and staff, with a moment of sharing a poem related to the theme.
