Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing

Any nature, and regardless of support or format, notably sound, image, writing, chirograph or characteristic, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

An identifiable person is one who can be directly or indirectly identified by reference to one or more specific personal data, considered individually or combined, particularly their physical, physiological, mental, economic, ethnic, cultural, geographic, social identity or their location.

I – The entity responsible for processing personal data

The entity responsible for collecting and processing personal data is Mais Polvoreira, CRL which, in the context of the relationships it maintains with the holder of personal data, establishes, always on a lawful and legitimate basis, which data is collected, the means of processing and the purposes of such collection and processing.

II – Types of personal data collected and processed

As part of its activity, Mais Polvoreira, CRL collects and processes, in particular:

Personal data necessary for the provision and/or receipt of services and/or supply of products to its customers and/or its suppliers, processing in this context data such as name, tax identification number, address, telephone number and email address, among other strictly necessary, proportionate and lawful data.

Personal data necessary for the execution of the employment contract or service provision contract entered into with its employees, processing in this context data such as name, identification document number and other data relating to this, tax identification number, household composition, social security number, address, telephone numbers and email address, health data, access data, location data, among other strictly necessary, proportionate and lawful data.

3. Personal data necessary to comply with legal obligations, whether towards public or private entities, processing in this context data such as name, identification document number and other data thereof, tax identification number, household composition, social security number, address(es), telephone numbers and email address, health data among other strictly necessary, proportionate and lawful data.

4. Data required to:

– customer and supplier management;
– contracting and management of the contractual relationship with customers and suppliers;
– adequacy of the provision of services suited to the needs and interests of the Client;

including sending suggestions, information and marketing actions, publicizing campaigns, promotions, advertising and news about services and/or products, carrying out market studies and/or satisfaction surveys, managing complaints, processing in this context, address(es), telephone numbers and email address, among other strictly necessary, proportional and lawful information.

5. All personal data necessary for the exercise of the rights of Mais Polvoreira, CRL within the scope of the relationships referred to in the previous items, and in the pursuit of its activity and legitimate interest, namely, accounting, tax and administrative management, litigation management, judicial evidence, fraud detection, revenue protection and auditing, network and systems management, information security and physical security control, and facility security.

Notwithstanding compliance with legal standards or legitimate orders from a competent authority regarding the conservation and transmission of data, Mais Polvoreira, CRL only processes personal data necessary for its activity, to the fair and strict extent required by the nature of the contractual or other relationship established with the holder of such data, or with the holder's prior, legitimate, lawful and informed consent, if any.

III – Time and method of collecting personal data

Mais Polvoreira, CRL collects personal data in person, in writing, by telephone, by email or through its website.

As a general rule, personal data is collected when a contractual or other relationship or collaboration is initiated, necessary for the pursuit of the activity of Mais Polvoreira, CRL, between the latter and the data subject.

Our websites may collect data through contact forms. These will be sent directly to our email server via an encrypted connection and will only be available to our contact person. Whenever necessary, the information will be made available to a manager of a specific department, to resolve the request.

In general, the personal data collected is intended for the management of customers, suppliers and employees, the contracting and management of the contractual relationship with customers, suppliers and employees, the receipt and/or provision of contracted services/supplies, the adaptation of the provision of services/supplies to the needs and interests of the Customer, the sending of suggestions, information and marketing actions, the disclosure of campaigns, promotions, advertising and news about services and/or products, the carrying out of market studies and/or satisfaction surveys, the management of complaints, accounting, tax and administrative management, litigation management, judicial proof, fraud detection, revenue protection and auditing, network and systems management, control of information security and physical security, security of facilities, compliance with legal obligations and for other purposes for which the Law recognizes Mais Polvoreira, CRL as having a legitimate interest.

V – Retention periods for your personal data

Whenever there is a specific legal requirement that requires data to be kept for a minimum period of time, this will be observed by Mais Polvoreira, CRL.

Mais Polvoreira, CRL will keep your personal data stored for the minimum period of time strictly necessary for the purpose for which the information is collected and processed, after which it will be deleted.

VI – Right of access, rectification, opposition, deletion, limitation and portability of your personal data

VII – Measures we adopt to ensure the security of your personal data

Mais Polvoreira, CRL observes best practices, and therefore adopts technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, in the area of ​​security and protection of personal data, having approved and implemented a demanding plan in compliance with the objectives, the Law and the interests of the holders of personal data, capable of safeguarding the protection of the data made available to us by all those who in some way relate to us, in order to protect them against their dissemination, loss, misuse, alteration, processing or unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of unlawful processing.

Therefore, the digital or paper personal data collection form(s), whether completed at Mais Polvoreira, CRL’s facilities or on the website (which require encrypted browser sessions) or with any of Mais Polvoreira, CRL’s employees, are stored securely in our physical repositories and digital systems.

All personal data that you provide us about yourself is stored in a data center owned by Mais Polvoreira, CRL, or by one of its subcontractors, covered by all advanced physical and logistical security measures, which we understand to be essential to the protection of your personal data.

Whenever, in the legitimate and lawful pursuit of the objectives of Mais Polvoreira, CRL's activity, it adopts measures to monitor its employees, particularly with regard to access control, working hours, tasks and productivity, circulation and transport, not only will those concerned have prior knowledge of their implementation – and, whenever legally necessary and lawful, their consent will be requested – but the tools used for this purpose will ensure the same level of security of the personal data collected and processed by them.

The aforementioned compliance and security plan includes the existence of a designated Personal Data Protection Officer, who is responsible for, among other things, verifying this Privacy Policy, maintaining clear rules for processing personal data and communicating with the supervisory authorities, ensuring that all those who entrust Mais Polvoreira, CRL with the processing of their personal data have effective knowledge of how it processes them and what rights they have in this regard.
